50th Jurjevanje in Bela Krajina folklore festival

will take place from 19th – 23rd June 2013 in Črnomelj, Slovenia

Town Črnomelj with Jurjevanjska draga and old town core will be between 19th and 23rd June 2013 50th folklore capital of Slovenia. Within five days Jurjevanje will host quality cultural and entertainment program interesting both, for younger visitors as well as for the older generation. Visitors will have chance to visit workshops, lectures and exhibitions openings in old core of Črnomelj. At Jurjevanjska draga place visitors can see different program including singing, dancing and musical heritage of Slovenian and international folklore groups.

Folklore program is accompanied by meeting of children's folklore groups Pastirče mlado (Young Shepherd), Arts and Crafts exhibition, cultural program with performances of Brass Band, tambour orchestras, choral groups and others.

In the atrium of the Črnomelj castle EtnoFolk music festival will be held.
