49th Jurjevanje in Bela Krajina folklore festival will take place from 20th – 24th June 2012 in Črnomelj, Slovenia

Town Črnomelj with Jurjevanjska draga and old town core will be between 20th and 24th June 2012 49th folklore capital of Slovenia. Within five days Jurjevanje will host quality cultural and entertainment program interesting both, for younger visitors as well as for the older generation. Visitors will have chance to visit workshops, lectures and exhibitions openings in old core of Črnomelj. At Jurjevanjska draga place visitors can see different program including singing, dancing and musical heritage of Slovenian and international folklore groups. We are proud to host Folklore group Estampas de Mexico from Mexico and Folklore group Arbana from Albania.

Folklore program is accompanied by meeting of children's folklore groups Pastirče mlado (Young Shepherd), Arts and Crafts exhibition, cultural program with performances of Brass Band, tambour orchestras, choral groups and others.

Entertainment program hosts great Slovenian and Croatian pop bands among them Rock'n’Bend and Davor Radolfi and Ritmo Loco Bend.

In the atrium of the Črnomelj castle EtnoFolk with bands Vasko Atanasovski Trio and Pannonia Allstars Ska Orchestra (Hungary) will be held.
